IntegratED With Jamie Palmer - A podcast for online entrepreneurs

Jul 31, 2019

We welcomed Teresa Kwon onto the OMG Show to share all her expertise when it comes to business strategy and leadership. She is working with Daringly Great Leadership as a leadership and team coach, as well as a business strategist. Teresa specializes in helping entrepreneurs step into a leadership role so they can start to amplify their income, their impact, and their freedom. After leaving a corporate role last year, she decided that she loved people and wanted to help develop and mentor others. She had a corporate consulting business on the side that was focused on helping leaders and startup founders. Without the leadership skills, her clients were having trouble building the dream business that they wanted.

Teresa shares with us why she suggests hiring employees for your business and how it can help you to grow as a business owner! Most startup founders make it a point to surround themselves with people who are more specialized than they are so that they can continue learning as the business takes off. People tend to wait until they get to 6-figures to hire someone… this is a misconception! You don’t necessarily have to hire someone full time, and even bringing on a part-time employee can help grow your leadership skills. By the time that you’re ready to launch, you’re already outsourcing a ton of your business with money that you could use to hire someone as an employee. Getting to the 6-figure mark that way is going to be a lot easier than doing it alone!

She also shared with us the best way to be a leader for your employees as you begin to take on more and more people to work for your company. If you’re someone who wants to take on a leadership role in your business or for your employees, make sure to tune in to this episode!
