IntegratED With Jamie Palmer - A podcast for online entrepreneurs

Oct 15, 2019

I’ve spent a lot of time working with entrepreneurs throughout my career and I always hear two different sides of this story in the online space:

1. I have build this awesome ***insert product here*** that I’ve spent months building. Now I want to launch it but I haven’t put any effort into building my community, audience, or my email list.

or

2. I want to build a community but I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to sell.

Regardless of which camp you fall in, I often get asked the questions well which should I do first? Build a community? Or create an offer? The truth is that you need BOTH to be successful in the online space.

You need to have an offer and a community in order to see growth and success for your business. There are positives and negatives to both ways of doing things, but I wanted to talk to you about how you can build an audience while you prepare for your launch and create your product.

To start, there are a few different types of audiences – cold audiences, warm audiences, and hot audiences. Cold audiences are people who have never met you or interacted with your business in any way. Warm audiences are people who have given you their email or opted in for your freebie but haven’t taken the next step to actual buying from you. Last but not least, a hot traffic audience is the people who are constantly waiting for new stuff from you that they can buy. These are people who are very interested in what you offer!

As you start to grow your community, it’s super important to know where most people are in your audiences because the community sizes for the warm and hot traffic are going to be important. Want to know why? Tune in to this episode!
