In my group coaching program, funnels and Facebook ads have been hot topics recently. I wanted to talk to you guys about this today because we’re seeing a lot of crazy things happening in the funnel and Facebook ad worlds. As someone who works behind the scenes, I’m going to share a lot of the things that we see people overlook a lot when it comes to funnels and Facebook ads.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen someone create an offer, a sales page, a funnel, and then they go to turn on ads and immediately get crickets. Even before you try selling to anyone, I think a really important step that is constantly being overlooked is doing the research that you need to be successful. I’m talking about posting in Facebook groups, reaching out to your ideal client, and gathering data about what they’re looking for. It doesn’t matter what type of business you have, what matters is that you’re able to understand the pain point that your ideal client is experiencing. Through your data collection, you can figure out what the similarities are between your ideal clients so you can choose something they all will need. You can even use the same wording that they do to draw them into your business!
You can save yourself a lot of aggravation by doing the research and testing it on your warm audience. If you have an offer that you’re able to sell organically first, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to sell it using ads and vice versa. If it doesn’t sell to people that know, like, and trust you, it’s not going to sell through ads.
