Today we’re diving deep into talking together about email marketing strategies. This is one of the most effective ways to stay in touch with your audience, the people that you’ve spent time curating as part of your email list. Most people are under the impression that once these people are on their list, there’s no need to nurture those leads or to be consistent – but this couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s very easy to unsubscribe from an email list (or get sent to spam) and you should be working to change those emails into tangible sales to help grow your business.
For my company personally, we have tried a few different approaches to creating the best email marketing tactics possible. For a while, we had tried to switch from sharing value-driven information (usually taken from the podcast) to just sharing my podcast episodes themselves with a little introduction, but to no avail. A lot of success in this industry is based around experimenting to figure out what works best for your audience. Should you send over four emails a week or does one do the trick? What type of content do you want to put in them? How often should you be trying to make sales via email? These are all questions that I tackle this episode, giving you my personal opinion on each area of your email marketing technique, from what works to what will flop.
