IntegratED With Jamie Palmer - A podcast for online entrepreneurs

What types of things do you need to consider when changing from a “one on one” business model to a “one to many” model? This is something that my team and I have been working on, and it’s something that I’ve worked on with a ton of different clients of ours. I think that some people try to jump into a one to many model too quickly after starting their business, without having the knowledge of what they need to include in it in order to be successful. When you’ve been in business for a longer time, you can better know what types of questions that your clients are going to have, what problems they’ll run into, and come up with solutions for these things that you can turn into content. Most of the time, the clients that I am coaching have run out of time in their business, are trading dollars for hours, and have a small following already.

The process from being fully booked to going to a one to many model can be a little painful. From my own experience, there are different challenges along the way that you face. As you go from 1:1 to taking on many clients, it’s incredibly important to make sure that you are doing the research to support you. I’ve been diving deep into this over the past few months. This could include asking questions to your ideal client so that you can get more data from them. I also highly recommend selling the course before you completely create it. This is something that most people don’t do, but it can help to prevent you from creating a whole course just for your ideal client to not be interested or for it not to sell. Pre-selling the course is another suggestion on how you can smoothly transition from one to many.
