Earlier this week a saw a woman singing and dancing on a Facebook Live on her personal page about how she was the best Facebook Ads Manager. I seriously couldn't believe my eyes. I was shocked. An ads manager doing a live on her personal page (you can't run ads from your personal page just a business page) simply to get attention. I thought to myself, man what marketing tactic.
This is one of the many marketing tactics that I see out there in the online world. There is typically no long strategy behind something like this, just a flash in pants, let me get a quick spike in business...maybe. Or just a bunch of likes and comments. The problem with this is that it is not how you build a sustainable online business. You have to have a strategy, you have to be consistent, and you have to grow strategically over time. It's not complicated, but these marketing gimics aren't going to get you to a million dollars a year.
